G200 Youth Forum 2017

The G200 Youth Forum 2017 (6 December — 10 December 2017, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates) will be organized by the Swiss-based G200 Association.The 12th G200 Youth Forum will be one of the largest international events organized for young leaders from around 200 countries in 2017, and over 500 young leaders, students and academics, representatives of the business world and governments participated in it.

The G200 Youth Forum 2017 will have 5 main events which will run in tandem with each other:

  1. G200 Youth Summit, which will yield the final Communiqué, and in which the best students and young experts in the fields of international relations, economics, finance, and law will play the parts of heads of state and ministers.
  2. Conference, which will be held for representatives from leading world universities. All materials of the Conference will be further published in the Conference Proceedings (ISSN 2297-0134).
  3. International Young Parliamentarians’ Debate, in which members of state and youth parliaments from different countries will exchange ideas and experience in all aspects of creating and implementing legislation. At the end of the Debate, delegates will elaborate the Joint Statement.
  4. G200 Young Professionals Platform, which will be held for individuals, who work as an employee in companies and are in the early stages of their career.
  5. G200 Entrepreneurs Platform, which will be held for the owners of small or medium size business and for tomorrow’s entrepreneurs with a complete business plan.

Also there is the Joint Sessions that will unite participants of the abovementioned platforms, who will include their recommendations regarding discussed topics in the Joint Sessions Results.

Over 300 attendees in total:

  • 39% conference participants: undergraduates (aged between 18 and 35), teachers, academics and university officers (aged between 30 and 70) from 100 best Universities in the world. All participants come from around 200 countries.
  • 17% young parliamentarians and members of state parliaments (aged between 30 and 45).
  • 24% Summit participants, undergraduates and young experts in international relations (aged between 18 and 30).
  • 16% observers from around 200 countries (aged between 18 and 70).
  • 4% partners who are representatives of business and governments from around 200 countries.

Previous Events

The unique concept of the event was created in 2005 by Ksenia Khoruzhnikova, Founder and President of the G200 Association. The concept was realized as the G8 Youth Summit in 2006 in St. Petersburg and continued in subsequent years transformed in G20 Youth Summit first, in G20 Youth Forum second and in G200 Youth Forum later:
