Empleando Futuros (Employing Futures), a work force development project in Honduras, includes an organizational and technical development component that targets the country’s largest technical, vocational, and professional development agency, INFOP (Instituto Nacional de Formación Professional). INFOP reaches thousands of students every year and works in collaboration with businesses and organizations throughout the country. This component strives to orient the agency towards (1) more deliberate strategic and operational programs and services that respond to market demand and (2) tailored training and outreach based on actual labor opportunities.
