Measuring the Quality of Girls' Education Across the Developing World

One-on-one literacy tests with adult women show that multiple years of schooling have left millions illiterate, and trends aren't improving very fast. As part of research for the International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity, 53 developing countries were studeied to try and devise a way to measure the quality of education around the world based on already existing data from the Demographic and Health Surveys, with a particular focus on girls.
