Official graduation ceremony of the YouthLead Ambassadors Cohort 2 after a successful completion of the YouthLead Ambassadors program. Selected from a pool of over 600 applicants from more than 85 countries they led, engaged, and supported social change and positive youth development (PYD) activities with other young changemakers in their community and around the world.

For the last six months, they demonstrated a commitment to their role as a YouthLead Ambassador with a sense of pride and ownership for the success of the YouthLead Network. They led, contributed, and implemented various learning activities and shared the benefits of the YouthLead platform with their network.

Together, the YouthLead Ambassadors and Peer Advisors:

  • Took the lead on platform engagement, recruited over 1,500 new members to YouthLead.org
  • Shared nearly 700 resources, funding opportunities, events, and projects with other young changemakers on the platform
  • Contributed to YouthLead social media channels and helped grow our reach with more than 2,500 likes and follows
  • Led eight campaigns and wrote a number of briefs on critical social issues impacting young people today

We as Rwandan Generation, African Generation in both we have to be able to serve ourselves and save others. We don’t have to depend on our parents. We have to know the best is for us. We don’t have to be afraid to chart our own course. This is the time of stopping looking for the things but the time of starting for them. Rwandan youth has to change their belief about how to change the nation by making or bringing better future of maximized peace and development for everyone. We will accomplish all our plan by dreaming big, working hard, and care deeply about what we believe in because there is no limit to what we can achieve. We ask our country to work hand in hand with us by providing what will help all of us such as giving us the place of showing them what we want to accomplish. Let us work together for bringing social change all over the world
