100&Change is the MacArthur Foundation's competition for a $100 million grant to fund a single proposal that promises real and measurable progress in solving a critical problem of our time. 100&Change remains open to organizations and collaborations working in any field, anywhere in the world. Proposals must identify a problem and offer a solution that promises significant and durable change; they will be accepted online only from April 30 to August 6, 2019.
Over 1,900 applicants from 55 countries submitted proposals in the inaugural 100&Change competition with the $100 million grant ultimately awarded to Sesame Workshop and the International Rescue Committee, to educate children displaced by conflict in the Syrian response region. And MacArthur has leveraged an additional $254 million to date from other funders and philanthropists to support bold solutions by 100&Change applicants.
