Invitation for Young Participants: 4th Migration Youth Forum and Youth Leadership & Innovation Award in Migration

Calling all young leaders interested in global migration issues and governance.

This year, youths will join global migration discussions at the 4th Migration Youth Forum, an official preparatory event for the 14th Global Forum on Migration and Development [GFMD] Summit.

- Application Deadline: September 15, 23:59 CET.

Event Date: 21st January 2024 |  Location:  Geneva, Switzerland

Note: Scholarship will be provided for in-person participants based on financial need, covering their trip and stay. Outstanding candidates can also receive fundraising support. To apply, complete the form section. If not seeking a scholarship, you can self-fund or attend online.

Who should attend?
Young people from 18 - 30, including migrants, refugees, youth-focused civil society representatives, researchers, entrepreneurs, and government officials passionate about migration. Scholarships are available for some in-person participants based on need.

You will also experience the launching of the Youth Leadership and Innovation Award for Migration, showcasing youth initiatives.

Before applying, please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria:

- Age: 18-30 years old.
- Country: Open to all.
- Expertise: Relevant experience or lived experience of migration.
- Language: Proficiency in English, Spanish, French, or Arabic.
- Commitment: Full participation during the events.
- Application Deadline: September 15, 23:59 CET.
