Lessons Learned: Measuring Child and Youth Systems Change Around the Globe

About the Event

Join the Youth Systems Strengthening (YSS) Community of Practice (CoP) on July 18th to hear about Mathematica’s experiences measuring early childhood education systems change in Mozambique, Tanzania, and Kenya.

We will be joined by Audrey Marie Moore, Ph.D. and Laura Meyer, M.P.P. of Mathematica, an employee-owned and mission-driven company that uses data, analytics, and technology to address some of the world’s most pressing social challenges. Audrey and Laura will speak about Mathematica’s early childhood development (ECD) systems measurement frameworks and how they were used in Mathematica’s work with the Hilton Foundation across Mozambique, Tanzania, and Kenya. Following their brief presentation, Audrey and Laura will join participants in breakout rooms, where they will discuss how to adapt and apply Mathematica’s lessons and frameworks to various contexts.

Presented by USAID's YouthPower 2: Learning and Evaluation Activity, the Youth Systems Strengthening (YSS) Community of Practice (CoP) serves youth, practitioners in youth-led and youth-serving organizations, and others in advancing comprehensive systems change to improve live of young people.
