Join them to “UnLearn, ReLearn: What it means to be Human”
The world as we know it is changing rapidly. We struggle to keep up with what we have created and continue to create.
We face the shrinking of time spans coupled with the near instantaneous spread of ideas and information. The acceleration of change impacts the relevance and validity of what we think we know. We can no longer rely on a stable stock of knowledge in order to progress and prosper throughout our lives. Instead we need to become lifelong learners who continuously develop and practice core traits and skills. Traits and skills such as resilience, empathy, perseverance, creativity, imagination and collaboration.
Indeed, these are the traits and skills that make us UNIQUELY HUMAN.
In order to get there, we need to rethink the way we learn.
What is the purpose of education and what does it mean for the human experience?
At WISE, we believe education is a keystone for strong, prosperous and secure societies. The biennial Summit in Doha will focus on why and how individuals, societies and ecosystems can unlearn-learn-relearn what we know to become lifelong-learners to thrive in the unknown future.
Through the prism of unlearning and relearning, up to 2,000 educators, decision-makers, and influential experts from the public and private sectors will discover and deep-dive into a range of topics that are influencing the future of teaching and learning, including mindfulness, well-being, the role of emerging technologies, learning and behavioral sciences.
This year, we want to offer you much more than inspiring keynotes, interactive debates, experiential labs and serendipitous meet-ups – we want you to get involved.
Your pitches, solutions and challenges must be heard!
Registered participants will be able to apply for a speaking opportunity in a specific series of delegates sessions.
Get ready to be a part of yet another exciting edition of the WISE Summit.
