We would like to invite you to an in-person meeting, “Collectively Sharing and Learning: Promoting Gender-Intentional and PYD Integration Across Youth Development Programming” on Thursday, January 31st, from 9:00-10:30 am EST at the International Center for Research on Women in Washington, D.C.. The event will also be webcast for those who are not able to join in person.
The Gender and Positive Youth Development (PYD) Community of Practice (CoP) seeks to support gender integration in Youth Power programming with the aim of more broadly promoting gender and PYD integration across development programming. The CoP does this through collective sharing and learning about what works and how to measure efforts as well as supporting the application of knowledge. We would like to extend the invitation to all members of the CoP to talk about the CoP objectives and activities, member’s interests, discuss the YouthPower learning agenda, and brainstorm some ideas for collaboration for the coming year. We’ll bring the coffee, you bring your knowledge, passion, and energy for a lively discussion!
