Kumekucha ("a new dawn") is a Tanzanian media campaign supported by USAID Tanzania and implemented by Africa Lead to raise awareness about the potential benefits of engaging in agriculture among Tanzania’s women and youth. Africa Lead partnered with Media for International Development (MFDI) to develop the Kumekucha campaign which consists of a 52 week 30 minute radio drama and two feature length (90 minute) films Kumekucha: TUNU and Kumekucha: Fatuma.
