Summary

Young people gather in a safe space to take part in activities together. Activities can include sports, leisure, edutainment, gender empowerment, learning or academic, livelihoods or savings-focused, or skills-based activities such as debate or media. Youth clubs or groups are typically based in schools, community or youth centers, or faith organizations. They differ from youth advisory councils in that they are not convened to advise another entity, but exist primarily for peer interaction and skill-building. Youth clubs can also be at a site where services are delivered.
