In my community, I've observed a pressing need for support and empowerment of young people who often lack access to crucial opportunities. To address this, I've initiated mentorship programs offering valuable guidance and advice to navigate educational and career journeys. Additionally, I've organized skill development workshops within my club, the English Performance Arts Society, equipping young individuals with practical skills to enhance employability and entrepreneurial potential. Recognizing the significance of education, I've worked to improve access to quality resources and facilities for disadvantaged youth. I've also incorporated management and leadership styles into my English language program to foster holistic development. Furthermore, I've facilitated networking opportunities, connecting young individuals with professionals across diverse fields, fostering connections that open doors to future opportunities. By focusing on the needs of our youth and providing support, guidance, and opportunities, my goal is to contribute to their personal growth and create a brighter future for both them and our entire community. The influences in my life have profoundly shaped my journey, guiding me towards a path of personal growth, leadership, and community impact. The diverse experiences I've engaged in, coupled with my commitment to volunteer work, have collectively molded me into a well-rounded individual ready to contribute to career development and beyond. Then, as a Volunteer English teacher, I immersed myself in an educational setting, nurturing a passion for teaching and learning. This experience exposed me to the transformative power of education, igniting my desire to play a role in shaping others' futures. Teaching not only improved my communication and empathy but also instilled in me the significance of imparting knowledge to foster growth and development. In my role as an assistant at American Corner Maradi, I embraced multifaceted responsibilities that ranged from event organization to library and registration management. This role required me to wear multiple hats, refining my organizational and multitasking abilities. The exposure to cross-functional tasks taught me the importance of adaptability, strategic planning, and teamwork—a blend of skills vital for a successful career development journey. In one hand, my leadership role in the Club English Performance Arts Society highlighted my knack for innovation and creativity. Through organizing events and managing various aspects of the club, I developed skills in problem-solving and decision-making. These experiences provided a platform to harness my artistic inclinations while sharpening my management acumen—an invaluable combination that I intend to leverage in my career pursuits. A pivotal shift occurred when I transitioned to the field of petroleum and gas as a Health Safety Security and Environment assistant. This role demanded precision, diligence, and a strong sense of responsibility. The exposure to safety regulations and risk management taught me the gravity of attention to detail and proactive measures. This background equipped me with skills that can be directly applied to career development, where adherence to quality standards and mitigation of risks are of paramount importance. In the other hand, my involvement in the Yali Network's online training sessions exposed me to diverse perspectives and global challenges. Learning about youth leadership, entrepreneurship, and disinformation broadened my understanding of the world's complexities. These insights furthered my commitment to addressing societal issues and contributing positively. The training from OPEN enhanced my English proficiency, which is pivotal for effective communication and professional growth. And, the Harvard University Aspire Institute Program underscored my thirst for learning and self-improvement. Engaging in online leadership training affirmed my determination to pursue excellence and embody leadership principles. This experience reinforced the idea that growth is an ongoing journey, and embracing opportunities for learning is essential for career development.

I am excited to apply to become a member of YouthLead. I strongly believe that this platform will provide me with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to positive change in my community and beyond. I want to join YouthLead because it offers a supportive and collaborative space for young changemakers like myself to connect, learn, and grow. By becoming a member, I will have access to a wealth of resources, mentorship programs, and leadership opportunities that will enhance my skills and knowledge in areas such as human rights, gender justice, SRHR, HIV advocacy, and LGBTQI-youth rights. I am driven by a deep passion for social justice and equality. Through my work as a young activist, I have witnessed the challenges faced by marginalized communities. I am committed to using my skills and expertise to address these challenges and create a more inclusive society. I want to make an impact by leveraging technology and digital health to advance HIV programs and find innovative solutions. I believe that by utilizing programming and digital tools, we can enhance access to information, services, and support for individuals affected by HIV. Additionally, I am dedicated to advocating for human rights, gender justice, and LGBTQI-youth rights. I aim to break down barriers and promote equality and acceptance for all individuals, regardless of their background or identity. Joining YouthLead will provide me with a platform to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for positive change. I am eager to collaborate with other young leaders, share my experiences and expertise, and learn from others. Together, we can amplify our impact and create a better future for all. In all, I want to join YouthLead because it offers the resources, support, and connections I need to make a meaningful impact in areas such as human rights, gender justice, SRHR, HIV advocacy, and LGBTQI-youth rights. I am committed to utilizing my skills, knowledge, and passion to create a more inclusive and equitable society. How I want to make an Impact As a previous ONE Youth Ambassador, I have witnessed the power of youth-led initiatives driving positive change. I aim to use my skillset and experience to engage in meaningful conversations, projects and missions.    Why I Want to Join I’m interested in the various sectors and topics available. I want the opportunity to grow, advocate for change, raise awareness and inspire others to do the same. I want to expand my network and collaborate with like-minded individuals.   

I want to make an impact in the areas of social services an social  welfare.

My motivation for joining is to discover fresh avenues through which I can contribute to the empowerment of fellow youth while also absorbing knowledge from others. I am driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact, understanding that my most valuable assets to offer the world are my time and talents. By investing these resources, I aim to enhance the experiences and expand the opportunities available to future generations, bridging gaps that I once faced.        

To acquire more knowledge to build my world, and make great impact and encourage youths in entrepreneurship for self reliance.

Quiero unirme para atender nuevas perspectivas y seguir mi proyecto, aprender hace parte de mi diario vivir, entre más aprendo más conozco y más me acerco a las comunidades de forma acertada 

I am passionate about making a positive impact in my community. I am also passionate about advocating for health. I  am actively involved in leading and volunteering in community projects in various healthcare fields, including medical screenings, mental health, and sickle cell disease. I organized a mental health awareness outreach program for students in my school and community, where I discussed the significance of mental health and the importance of taking care of it.  I have advocated for sustainable development goals in my community by conducting advocacy outreach at schools, where I discussed the seventeen sustainable development goals and the roles they can play in achieving them. I founded Voice for Health, a project which focuses on creating awareness of causes such as mental health. Through Voice for Health, I create online awareness by sharing images and videos educating people on mental health. I view myself as a visionary, self-aware, and creative individual. I enjoy participating in projects that have a positive impact on the lives of individuals. 

Desde muy pequeña me interesé por lo que estaba pasando en mi entorno, en los retos de mi comunidad y en el liderazgo. Mi mayor sueño es aportar un cambio positivo a la sociedad que sea tangible. Quiero ser una joven que empodera a más jóvenes.
