This picture celebrates the most important part, the path or way which can assure the meeting of women and equality.Education is the mightiest weapon to eradicate all kind of troubles that muddles the possibility of women. The little girl here is trying to help her grandmother to learn. And while clicking the picture,I felt that this sight should be seen for oft, here and there, from a village corridor to urban veranda,in order to enlighten women and establish equality in a fruitful way .

By: ARPAN BASU CHOWDHURY
Sectors: Media and Communications, Education, Gender, Non-discrimination, Youth
In today's world, employment opportunities are not easy to be availed by all women. They come from different socio-economic background, and different educational qualification, also all of them don't have skills required to satisfy the smarter needs. That's why, this kind of engagement is helpful to them. They can attain freedom, power, independence through the economic independence. They can be the pioneers of changemaking, that endeavours gender equality as a pillar of sustainable development.

The hope of equality finds it's way through sustainable development to a greener future where equality is most important goal to be achieved. This team, consisting of 7-8 women, are busy processing and supplying eco friendly sanitary napkins which are plastic free and biodegradable. But the entire process even engages more than 150 women workers from office work to processing unit. Thus this enlightens sustainable development both by employing women and creating awareness.
