Healthy Relationship and Bonding are an integral part of protective and safe environment. This picture was taken in the tribes of Odissa, India, despite of everyday hardships these children are determined to build trust, learn, and make their world a better place. Having faith in their dreams and trust in one another is what makes the bond of friendship stronger. While I was travelling in this remote village with limited access to essential resources, I came across these children after school hour, finishing their and getting ready to play. The game starts with climbing these giant logs to woods stacked together carefully, collected earlier that day by women of the family to be mainly used as a fuel to prepare food and to keep warm during the winter days. This taught me the importance of good bonding and being a right fit, among children, among women who collectively brought this wood, and between the wood sticks striking the right balance- bringing smile to everyone’s face.
