A Young Rendille Girl married at 15 years, keenly follows an anti CEFM ( Child, Early Forced Marriage) dialogue meeting. I was addressing a group of young people in the village and this girls who is now 15 years and was married 3 years ago ( she was married when she was only 12 years) showed up and as she carefully listened the effects that CEFM has on girls ( emotional, physical and psychological harm), physical harm is when a young girl who is married is forced into sex, or sometimes the husband beats her if she is not behaving like an old married woman. She immediately, related her own story and asked if she can speak. Her speech brought the whole team to tears. She has gone through lot, but she then she was determined to not to stand a side and watch this practice to go on. she vowed to stand up and fight for her siblings and children.
