This photo was taken during the 2019 international day of the girl child in a community called Tumfure Gombe State North East Nigeria. I had to carry out this advocacy promoting girl child education because all the girls in this photo and even more were not enrolled in any school. Most of them hawkers and are almost assuming the position of the bread winners of their families.
As an advocate for the girl child I had to gather parents religious and traditional leaders to educate them on the benefit of girl child education.
