Young women members of "Tupate Sote" Swahili for (let's all benefit) Youth Savings and Lending Association in Pemba island off the coast of Tanzania. These women run small businesses through loans they borrow from their association which has been made possible through the Feed the Future Tanzania Advancing Youth program under the funding of USAID. The Positive youth development feature highlighted is belonging and membership, these women come together under a common goal to contribute, save and build their source of livelihoods together. They also assist each other in times of family disasters.
