To build capacity with USAID on youth development, YouthPower Action developed a curriculum on positive youth development (with one and four-day versions), and trained USAID staff on how to implement the curriculum. The curriculum covers topics such as adolescent development, youth engagement and strategies for cross-sectoral youth programs. The training is intended to be a sustainable resource as part of USAID University for ongoing strengthening of PYD across USAID and has been implemented worldwide. USAID provided a shorter version of this training at the Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit. YouthPower Action also collaborated with YouthPower Learning to develop a positive youth development tool to demonstrate how the YouthPower PYD Framework can be implemented across the socio-ecological system.
