Child marriage is a critical issue in both crisis and stable contexts. This brief from Girls Not Brides outlines current evidence about child marriage in humanitarian crises, including conflict, natural disasters, and displacement. The brief also highlights a number of initiatives that address child marriage in these settings and includes recommendations on what more needs to be done. It has been informed by the experience of a number of Girls Not Brides members working in humanitarian contexts and is intended as a starting point to support key messaging and draw attention to this issue
