This toolkit, developed by the Skill IT for Youth – Integrating Digital and Future Skills into Youth Work Project, provides instructions on how to hold a workshop for young people (especially workshops and trainings surrounding digital skills and digital enabling technologies).
What is it and who is it for?
The Training Toolkit is a tool for youth workers and more generally educators to enhance their competence in providing workshops to young people (16 -24 yrs old) to develop their 21st-century employability skills.
The kit presents theories and research-backed facts and evidence on the work related to digital enhancement needs for youth development.
This Training Toolkit was developed within the framework of the Skill IT for Youth – Integrating Digital and Future Skills into Youth Work (Skill IT/Skill IT for Youth) project.
The Skill IT for Youth project (2018-2020) aims to:
- Increase the kind of quality and excellence of youth work, that can be derived from the digitalization of youth work
- Provide increased opportunities for young people.
- Equip youth workers with skills and digital tools to enhance young people’s futures in the 21st Century
