As part of REACH’s ongoing effort to support early grade reading improvement globally, you are invited to attend a five-part online professional development series: Early Grade Reading Program Design and Implementation: Best Practices and Resources for Success.  This series of two-hour “short courses” focuses on major components and critical issues in early grade reading programs.

Updated since they were previously delivered in November 2018, the webinars are interactive and provide many opportunities for participant questions, reflection and experience sharing.  Case studies and resources from current programs will be shared during the webinars and will also be made available for download.  The short courses are designed with the diversity of EGR program stakeholders in mind, with information and resources useful to people with a range of experiences, and for programs at different stages of implementation.

This first of five in the webinar series is "Early grade reading programming: From conception to scale."  This session guides participants through key steps and considerations for EGR program design and implementation, with a focus on planning for expansion and sustainability.  The sessions will include an update on progress improving EGR outcomes and the new U.S. Government strategy and USAID policy for improving education quality.
