About the Event

Watch this webinar to hear speakers from Daystar University in Kenya and Columbia University in the United States that will share their examples of climate action through a higher education context. In particular, discussion will focus on both how climate action can engage the private sector and be mindful of the imperative for economic growth, and how young people are motivated by and shaping responses to climate change.

This webinar is open to all but will be especially useful to staff and young leaders at higher education institutions and anyone working at the intersection of climate change, education, and economic growth work.

Presented by USAID's YouthPower 2: Learning and Evaluation Activity, the Business, Entrepreneurship, and Private Sector Engagement (BEPSE) and Higher Education Engagement and Transformation (HEET) Community of Practice (CoP), a group of youth, practitioners in youth-serving organizations, and policymakers.
