This handout provides definitions of the five areas of inquiry included within the soon-to-be-released Intersectional Rapid Gender and Protection Analysis (IRGPA) tool.
The areas of inquiry focus on various community aspects such as enabling environment; gender roles, responsibilities and time use; agency and contribution; assets and resources, and protection and risks. In addition to these definitions, the document features a brief case study of Computer Café, exemplifying how the IRGPA can be used to understand gender, age, and other identity-related challenges in specific community contexts, such as equitable access to technology.
