Your are invited to join a Data Science for Peace facebook group dedicated to harnessing the use of data scienece tools and techniques to promote peace worldwide. Using the platform, members share ideas, resources, and knowledge on issues related to international development such as reducing conflict, climate change, forced displacement that help to make the world a more peaceful place. Most importantly, members exchange ideas and learn about how data science might be applied to their work and studies for greater impact.
GROUP RULES:
Posts should relate somehow to the fields of data science, peacebuilding, or - preferably - intersections between the two.
Posts will be removed if they are:
*Of a spamming nature (e.g. several posts about the same thing)
*Needlessly distressing (e.g. not really relevant, but shock-factor posts)
*Extremist content (this includes right-wing extremism)
*Not really relevant to the main topic of the group
*In any way offensive or demeaning towards a specific person or group of people
