Event Description
Many labor market assessments provide important data on national employment trends and skills requirements so as to inform national-level policies and programs. But how can data from labor market assessments be put into use by youth-serving organizations at the local level-- those who are closest to young people and preparing them for the workforce?
This webinar offered insights on how to carry out Local Labor Market Assessments (LLMA) and feature the experiences of a youth-serving organization in Rwanda that has been implementing LLMAs over the past few years. We discussed how LLMAs are most useful when they are not a one-time product, but rather as an ongoing process that is implemented and regularly updated by local system actors.
