Peace Corps: Youth Clubs Toolkit

Youth Clubs ToolkitThe Peace Corps Youth Clubs Toolkit provides guidance, checklists, and tools to support the implementation of quality youth clubs.

This workbook is one of a number of tools produced by Let Girls Learn that is intended to provide Volunteers, staff at the Peace Corps’ posts, and counterparts with guidance needed for them to feel comfortable, competent, and motivated to promote and implement activities that:
- Increase girls’ leadership and overall perceived sense of agency
- Improve opportunities for girls to attain quality education
- Increase community engagement, including with men and boys, in support of positive, gender-equitable norms that facilitate girls’ education and full participation in economic and community life

The programming highlighted in these tools takes tried-and-true Peace Corps activities and builds on them through the addition of evidence-based standards as well as tools and materials to support training and implementation. Peace Corps post staff may select from a targeted set of anchor activities that reflect the priorities identified in their project frameworks, meet a certain level of quality standards, and are easily implementable by Volunteers.
