The Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP), based in the U.S., is a premier research, evaluation, technical assistance and advocacy organization focused on improving systems that impact our most vulnerable children, youth, families and communities.

This new report (see link below) focuses on learnings re: child welfare systems that support children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect in their family or any living units.  The 'child welfare' language may be different than in other countries but any young person who has suffered physical, emotional or mental abuse (including in orphanages, living on the street, having served as a non-voluntary youth soldier) is in need of the related lessons learned in this report.

While this article is focused on systems reform in the U.S. child welfare system, there could be lessons learned for global youth advocates focused on systems change in related systems impacting children and youth.
