This is the session note from the session on Day 1 (Tuesday, November 9, 2021) of the USAID YouthPower2 Symposium about Youth Leading Responses to COVID-19.

Main Topic Focus
The session mainly focused on the fact that although the pandemic poses various challenges for youth, it can also be an opportunity to further bring youth in as collaborators and  innovators. The lived experience for refugees and individuals in low-income  areas in Uganda during COVID-19 was highlighted there. A summary of challenges and  recommendations from youth impacted was shared as well.
