Why do you want to join youthpower
I want to join YouthPower to learn about positive youth development while spreading knowledge on PYD. I a young person myself I am very interested in learning how youth is growing and making a positive impact around the globe.
How I want to make an Impact

I want to make an impact by showing how the younger generation can advocate for change. As a young individual myself, I believe it is important that we utilize our voices in regard to serious issues that are impacting us globally every day.

Hello, my name is Kathia. I will be an undergraduate at American University. I am an undergraduate in the School of International Service, pursuing a BA in International Relations. I have a passion for studying countries across the world, and my goal in the future is to work in an environment that seeks to maintain international peace and security across the globe. I am bilingual as I speak both English and French, I hold citizenship both in the US and Algeria.

I will be an undergraduate at American University. I am an undergraduate in the School of International Service, pursuing a BA in International Relations. I have a passion for studying countries across the world, and my goal in the future is to work in an environment that seeks to maintain international peace and security across the globe. I am bilingual as I speak both English and French, I hold citizenship both in the US and Algeria.
I was involved in various clubs throughout my high school and current college career. I was the president of my high school's UNICEF club and did some volunteering/fundraising with GirlUp and ShestheFirst. These organizations help both children and women globally. I am now posting resources, funds, and researches on on the YouthLead/YouthPower2 websites.

Other Interests Aside from what I do, I enjoy traveling going on runs, and watching soccer. I am also learning guitar, drawing, and Arabic (though I'm not quite good at these things........yet :) ).
